Ángel Rodríguez is considered the saviour of the Verdejo grape because he pushed back at a trend of tearing out all Verdejo vines in Spain in the early 1970s. As such, his family's ancient vineyard, dating back to 1784, still produces exquisite Verdejo to this day, and Martinsancho 2018 is just that. Expressive, elegant and utterly complex; it combines an intense nose of crisp mountain herbs, citrus blossom and honey with juicy flavours of green apple and soft peach. A classic, deliciously fruity yet fresh Spanish white.
